Mr Samwel C. Mkami
Non-Executive Director
Eng. Samwel is among the co-founder of FCL with Eng. Felician. He holds a BSc in Civil and Structural Engineering (Hons) from University of Dar es Salaam and MSc Offshore & Ocean Technology with Pipeline Engineering from Cranfield University – U.K. Samwel is also registered as Professional Engineer with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) with reg. no PE 3398.
He has worked in a numerous number of projects for the last 11 years in different roles including design, supervision, project management in structural, civil and oil and gas projects. He has taken part in projects with a combined cost of more than USD 1.9 Billion.
With his expertise, experience and exposure, the firm counts on him in the project management, policy-making and planning of the firm activities and projects. He is also chairman to the board of directors of the firm.
Mr. Charles E Maganga
Managing Director
Charles is the company Managing Director, with 5 years general experience in the construction business. In 2013, Charles graduated BSc Civil Engineering from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. In 2014 to date, he is enrolled at University of British Columbia to pursue Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering.
Before joining FCL, he worked with Eastern Capital Limited as Managing Director for 4 years. In Eastern Capital, Charles was overall in charge of day-to-day management of the company, mostly dealing in real estate development and management; coordinate projects with government, contractors, engineers and other stakeholders in workflow execution of company projects. In charge of business development; He managed to lower company debt from 1.6 Billion to total liquidation in space of 4 years, managed to complete the Makumbusho Bus Terminus project, which was 65% complete when appointed. Overall management of over 60 staff and running a business with a gross turnover of over TZS 1 Billion
